i have rhapsodized in the past how her noodle dishes make food taste better...while you might think i'm crazy, a meal ought to engage all the senses, and these dishes make for a much better dining experience than, say, leftover chinese carryout containers...

cleveland public theater auction

a photo of mine will be in the cpt silent auction. go and bid lots of $$$ for it. i don't get any of it - heck, it would taint the donation if i did... but it'll be a nice ego boost - and frankly, these days, i could go for an ego boost more that $$$...and it goes for a good cause...

impending bloom....

i awoke to a frightening sight this morning. there appears to be a giant fireball in the sky....

it seems to be quite small - about the size of a penny - but it also seems to be heating up the neighborhood...

while it may be a sign of the apocalypse, it feels oddly nice and cheerful outside....
