and you? as one of my professors observed, no one admits to watching tv, but everyone seems to know about all the different shows. so don't be an elitist - what are you watching these days?

I like watching this british show called "doc Martin" but I'm always forgetting that it's on Fridays. We (finally) have alias season 4 now but you're right; it wasn't as good. I'm getting bored with it. Lost is also keeping me occupied (or at least keeping me at home)
:)
I don't actually have cable right now and we get no reception on an antennae where we live. I LOVE not arguing with my husband about what to watch. He tends more towards the History Channel (or as I call it-the World War II channel) and more news than any person really needs to see and I want to watch something escapist. That said, my sister tapes "Desperate Housewives" for us after we became addicted last season when we had cable. And sometimes also "My Name is Earl" which I think is hilarious. I used to watch "Alias" but gave up on it because it stopped being entertaining. I seriously considered getting cable again for the "Sopranos" but finally decided it would be cheaper to just rent it when it comes out on DVD.
Gotta go with Mad About You. Just discovered it after they took it off the air....must have like 30 of those things on DVR. Love it!
Top Chef is giving me all the TV thrills I crave, but I also watch the Sopranos, Big Love, Survivor and the Apprentice.
But overall, nothing beats the ever-present drone of Law & Order and all its permutations.
