book meme...
from thinking girl
1. One book that changed your life?
alan watts: the wisdom of insecurity
2. One book you have read more than once?
wow, i reread a lot of books...either completely or partially - and so as not to repeat the answer from 1, i'll go with kerouac: dharma bums
3. One book you would want on a desert island?
maybe walden by thoreau - being on a desert island might give me a chance to finish it...
4. One book that made you laugh?
i find p.j.o' rourke hilarious, though i disagree with almost everything he writes...max barry is funny as well... doug coupland is pretty funny...
5. One book that made you cry?
can't think of any
6. One book you wish had been written?
*edit* misread the question - thought it said the book you wish you had written....
ok - the book that i wish was written:
The Pizza/Beer Diet: The Key to a long, happy, healthy life
7. One book you wish had never been written?
can't think of any - maybe something hateful...
but as a free speech person, i find this hard to answer...
maybe one of the boring books i had to read for school
8. One book you are currently reading?
between books. just finished the long tail - might read blue latitudes next
9. One book you have been meaning to read?
walden - never quite made it through the whole thing...
10. Now tag five people.
next five that read this...

ah, great list!
those classics... gotta love 'em, but wow are they tough sometimes! takes me a good while to wade through the language, although I find it beautiful.
nice list. I've already been tagged though.
Re question 6, there's actually a version of that meme that has "One book you wish you had written".
my answer to that would be: Tha DaVinci Code!!! then I could retire!!! ha ha!
oddly enough, i considered the da vinci code for book i wish was never written, not for any idealogical reason, but cause it sucked - couldn't get through much more than a chapter
marc: maybe that's where i got it from - i like that explanation better than failing eyesight/mental capacity
