there is a web site that is saying a pet rabbit will be killed and eaten if $50,000 isn't donated. i refuse to link to this loser. instead here's a link to peta

There is a restaurant near here that is called "The Rabbit Hutch." They raise rabbits, and rabbit is their specialty. On the walls of the restaurant are all types of rabbit photos, even Bugs Bunny. I'm no vegetarian, but the one time I was there I ordered a salad.
I've seen the web site and I totally agree it's not funny. It's sick. It is a "joke" (and I use that term loosely) however and apparently the PayPal link on the page is bogus. Dunno if it makes you feel any better. Didn't make me feel much better about the whole thing...

i don't know - i am not a particularly sensitive bloke - and i enjoy irreverence - just rubbed me the wrong way
Whoever created that rabbit site has a sick sense of humor.
It's like the idiots who made the movie about the cat crawling into the SUV and getting caught in the sunroof...have you seen that one? It's faked, but rather disgusting.
There was a restaurant in San Antonio once called the Rapid Rabbit. That was their specialty.
I'd never go in there- too afraid whatever I ordered would have rabbit juice on it.
