i have kind of a love/hate relationship with oln: the outdoor life network. a good portion of their shows i love. they were the network of le tour de france. i have seen mountain biking, surfing, speed skating, documentaries about everest, etc... on this network. unfortunately, when they are not showing shows i love, they show shows i hate. for example, checking it out today, i saw a beautiful moose walking thru a field - soon, *crack, crack* some good old boy put a cap in it, and the beautiful animal fell to die. *sigh* since i have become a vegetarian, i have actually gotten *more* sympathetic towards hunters - they at least are in touch with where meat comes from. but it seemed like these guys killed the moose just for fun - and that strikes me as cruel...
